Shopify adds countryCode support to Customer Address APIs

Shopify’s official Developer Changelog says Customer Account API version 2026-10 adds countryCode to CustomerAddressInput and CustomerAddress for creating, updating, and reading customer addresses.

countryCode uses Shopify’s CountryCode enum and ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 values such as US or CA; territoryCode is deprecated in version 2026-10 but remains supported.

Apps using API version 2026-07 or earlier are unchanged, and the changelog says no removal version has been announced. If both fields are supplied, countryCode takes precedence.
