Quick Answers

Q: What does this page explain? A: How we process personal data and your privacy rights.

TL;DR: You can access, correct, or request deletion of relevant data.

1. Introduction

Ecomwith ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our website and services.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Personal Information: When you register for an account, subscribe to newsletters, or use our services, you may need to provide name, email address, and other information.
  • Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you use our website and services, including access logs, browser type, operating system, etc.
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, analyze traffic, and personalize content.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Process your registration and account management
  • Send updates, security alerts, and administrative information
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and suggestions
  • Analyze usage trends and optimize user experience

4. Third-Party Platform API Data

Ecomwith may use Pinterest API data through Ecomwith AdOps only to provide advertising reporting and analytics for a Pinterest account that has authorized the connection. This includes the account identifiers and advertising-performance data needed to provide those reports.

  • Limited use: We access the data only after authorization by the account holder. We do not use it to build unrelated profiles or to provide services to unaffiliated parties.
  • Our relationship with Pinterest: Ecomwith and Ecomwith AdOps are not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Pinterest.
  • Disconnecting and deletion: An account holder can request withdrawal of access or deletion at [email protected]. After we verify the request, we revoke stored authorization where applicable and delete the relevant Pinterest-derived credentials and reporting data from our active systems, unless we must retain specific information for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
  • No resale or redistribution: We do not sell, rent, resell, or redistribute Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to third parties.

Meta API Data

After the account holder or an authorized administrator completes authorization, Ecomwith may connect to Meta Facebook Pages, Instagram business accounts, and ad accounts to provide connected brands with advertising reports, Page information, Instagram content, and management features within the granted permissions. We access only the data needed to provide the service.

  • Limited use: Meta data is used only to provide the authorized advertising, Page, and social media services. We do not use it to build unrelated profiles.
  • Security: Authorization credentials are stored on access-controlled servers with encryption. We do not expose them on public pages, in browser code, or in project source files.
  • Disconnecting and deletion: An account holder can request withdrawal of access or deletion of related data at [email protected]. After we verify the request, we revoke authorization where applicable and delete the relevant credentials and reporting data from active systems, unless specific information must be retained for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
  • Our relationship with Meta: Ecomwith is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Meta.

5. Chrome Extension: Ecomwith Store Inspector

Ecomwith Store Inspector is a user-initiated Chrome extension for inspecting public Shopify and WooCommerce storefronts. It runs on the current page after you choose to inspect it. It does not run persistent background scans or collect browsing history.

  • Information processed: The extension processes information visible on the current public page, such as the page URL (with query strings and fragments removed before persistence), page metadata, platform, theme, technology, SEO, public product and image metadata, and bounded same-origin public catalog responses.
  • Information not collected: The extension does not collect cookies, credentials, account or customer data, order, cart, checkout or payment information, form values, website local or session storage, raw HTML, request or response headers, private APIs, or browsing history.
  • Local storage and exports: If you choose Save locally or Export JSON, the snapshot is kept in the extension's local browser storage or downloaded by your browser. The extension does not upload snapshots in the background.
  • Optional Ecomwith sync: If you configure a pairing token and choose Send to Ecomwith, the extension sends the sanitized snapshot to the configured receiver. The production receiver uses HTTPS. Ecomwith associates the snapshot with your account, stores the pairing token as a hash, and shows the raw token only once. You can revoke a pairing token or delete a saved snapshot from the Store Inspector workspace.

The extension uses this information only for its stated public-page inspection purpose. It does not use the information for unrelated profiling, advertising, or sale.
